ANIDA has chosen sponsorship as our means for helping needy children because we have found that coupling one child with one sponsor or a group of sponsors is the most effective way to receive consistent contribution from our donors and therefore provide stable, ongoing benefits and services to the children.
The Child Sponsorship Project establishes a relationship between individual donors and sponsored children. Sponsors provide a monthly contribution to ANIDA, which is used to help provide benefits for their sponsored children in various areas.
Nutritional Support: In order to prevent starvation and malnourishment, sponsored children and their families are provided with nutritious food supplies such as rice, milk powder, oil, cereals and so on.
Medical care: ANIDA is dedicated to improving the health conditions of its beneficiaries. ANIDA therefore provides access to medical care for every sponsored child; medication to the sick and injured and follow-up care when needed.
Educational assistance: The project seeks to eliminate illiteracy in the lives of sponsored children. We therefore provide educational assistance by paying their school fees, supplying books, uniforms, school bags and other materials. Children are sponsored up to the Senior Secondary level at the least.
Other material aid: Sanitary ware such as soap, cream, tooth brush and tooth paste and other cleaning supplies are provided.
